Suwan Bhupaijitkul brings extensive experience in lubricant oil and downstream energy markets, including leadership roles with Castrol Thailand and BP Castrol. His deep technical knowledge of base oil markets and lubricant formulations, combined with strong commercial relationships across Asia, forms the backbone of IES's trading and blending capabilities.
Mr. Sumake Panthanuwong is a highly respected senior executive and strategic advisor with more than four decades of leadership experience across the energy, automotive, marketing, and public policy sectors in Thailand. With a distinguished career spanning both multinational corporations and national advisory roles, he brings deep expertise in corporate governance, strategic development, energy policy, and business transformation.
Mr. Sumake holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Thammasat University, as well as a Certificate in Marketing and Retail Management from California State University, Los Angeles. He also completed the Executive Energy Program at the Energy Academy of Thailand and advanced financial management studies at Macquarie University.
Throughout his career, Mr. Sumake has held several prominent leadership and advisory positions. He previously served as an executive at BP-Castrol Thailand for over two decades, where he played a significant role in business growth, marketing strategy, and operational leadership. He also contributed to the automotive industry through senior roles with A.P. Honda Thailand and various industry associations.
In the energy sector, Mr. Sumake currently serves as Chairman of the Executive Board of the Alternative Energy Institute of Thailand Foundation and continues to advise organizations on energy innovation, sustainability, and strategic partnerships. His experience also extends into government and policy advisory work, having served as an advisor to senior government officials and national reform initiatives.
As Chairman of the Board of Advisors, Mr. Sumake provides strategic direction, industry insight, and governance leadership, supporting the company’s long-term vision, sustainable growth, and commitment to excellence in the energy sector.
A third-generation business executive with an MBA from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand's most prestigious institution. Wanpimon brings expertise in international partnerships, cross-border commercial development, and growth strategy. Her academic foundation combined with practical business acumen positions IES for accelerated expansion across new markets.
Michael Khaniss Jand is a business-focused legal professional with close to two decades of experience across corporate advisory, cross-border business operations, commercial negotiations, restructuring, and dispute management. With a strong foundation in both business and law, he brings a practical and commercially driven approach to legal leadership within the energy sector.
His legal expertise includes corporate law, commercial contracts, labor matters, regulatory compliance, restructuring, shareholder matters, dispute resolution, and strategic legal advisory for foreign businesses operating in Thailand and Southeast Asia.
As Head of Legal, Khaniss focuses on strengthening legal governance, managing corporate risk, supporting strategic growth initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance within the evolving energy industry landscape.
